Here are the few steps to follow to properly use a welding set

A welding set is a generating set offering a supplementary welding function. It is primarily intended to produce electricity, but can also be used for non-intensive, time-limited welding operations.

When using your generating set for the first time, remove the transport flange. The transport flange is a metal plate located under the engine, near the ground terminal. Useful for transport, it nevertheless interferes with optimal use of the device (noise, vibrations). To remove it: lift the device slightly and place it on a block, then remove the nut and the flange.

Manual starting

  1. Fill up with fuel
  2. Fill with oil. The presence of traces of oil in the engine is normal, all our generating sets are tested at the factory after manufacture. You must check the oil and top up to the recommended level.
  3. Set the switch to ON
  4. Open the engine fuel tap
  5. Set the starter handle to ON
  6. Pull the pull-cord
  7. Set the starter handle to OFF

To weld:

  1. Connect the earth cable plug into the female socket “-”
  2. Connect the earth cable to the part to be welded.
  3. Connect the electrode holder cable plug to the female "+" terminal
  4. Select the welding range on the selector
  5. Select welding intensity on the switch
  6. Weld
